The Cowansville Coureur des bois field hockey team currently plays in the Elite Senior Hockey League (ESHL), but it wasn’t always that way, and it wasn’t always located in Cowansville. From 2007 to 2020, the team was known as the Bedford Bulls and was based in Bedford. At the time, the team was playing in the Ligue de field hockey sénior Richelieu (LHSR). In 2020, Keyvin Corbin, owner of Bar chez mon oncle, moves the team to give it a 2nd life. Since 2022, the team has been a member of the Ligue de field hockey senior élite (LHSE). Then, in May 2024, the new owner, Francis Soucy, saw the social networking ad that Keyvin Corbin had posted, listing the team for sale. Francis, who holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Université de Sherbrooke and a certificate in sports management from New York University, can count on a team with solid hockey knowledge to support him in managing the team.
